An Update from Nifty Royale

Hey everyone,

Wanted to give you all an update from Nifty Royale, we’ve been quietly working hard since our last drop with EJ Hassenfratz back in September. Our last few drops have taught us a lot about the areas we need to improve. With a new and improved team, we have taken some time to be head down working on these improvements over the past couple of months before we lined up more drops. Now we cannot wait to share with you all the changes that we have made for the relaunch of Nifty Royale!

Website Revamp

One of the first things that we wanted to work on was to revamp the website to ensure a smoother user experience. We are excited to announce that the revamp has been completed and the new website is now live at https://niftyroyale.com. You can now expect a cleaner UI as well as faster loading speeds on the site with this new revamp.

Polygon Integration

With our battle royale being completely on-chain one of the difficulties we faced with our original smart contracts on Ethereum was dealing with high gas fees and network congestion. In order to provide a better user experience going forwards for artists and collectors, we have decided to move our on-chain battle royale to run on the Polygon network. NFTs will remain Ethereum to ensure the buying/collecting experience for collectors remains the same but the games will now be run on the Polygon network so that eliminations can be confirmed faster than before. We believe this would provide the best experience going forward on our platform and can’t wait for everyone to try it out!

Updated Game Mechanics

With the move over to Polygon, we are now able to explore new game mechanics to Nifty Royale that we couldn’t implement due to high transaction costs. We will be sharing some new battle royale scenarios in some of our upcoming drops and can’t wait to hear what you guys think about the new battles!
